Well this summer hasn't worked out in terms of finding employment.I'm very annoyed at the fact that cork is basically devoid of any jobs at the moment.I've applied for jobs in callcentres and had one interview with a supermarket but didn't get it.Kinda worried about findind one as I'm close to giving up on looking for employment as even when there hasn't been a recession I still have trouble finding one and have never had a proper one
On the other hand I've managed at least to make some use of my time off.Lately have watched lots of documentaries about development issues.It's sad the amount of exploitation and degradation that goes on in the world that many would know nothing about as it's hardly ever reported in the news.I wouldn't know anything about it if i hadn't watched these documentaries.I've become more wary about what I buy and have decided to boycott a few places that I've heard have exploited people.Levis and gap,in particular as in one country they pollute the lake with their blue dye and it's so bad that the water there is filled with the stuff I detest corporations in general as alot of them are so evil and have ruined the environment.
Also have been doing more bass practice again lately which is goodwent through a bit of a blank phase on it but now feel more inspiredlooking forward to second year of college, only a few weeks left of the holidays!
